Axl Rose Arrested over Swedish hotel brawl

Well, welcome to the jungle! Guns n’ Roses’ lead singer Axl Rose has been arrested in Sweden for violent conduct and damaging a Stockholm hotel room.
Rose played a concert in the Swedish capital last night but was “too drunk to talk” when he was detained by coppers.
He is being held in a cell until sober enough for questioning, a police spokeswoman said.
The police spokeswoman said he also “caused minor damage to the interior of the hotel.”
After he is heard by police, a prosecutor will decide whether to press charges against Rose but he could face up to 4 years in the clink.
It was unclear what caused the fight with the security guard, but a witness told Swedish tabloids the guard tried to intervene when Rose started arguing with a woman in the hotel lobby.
In slightly related news, the ex guitarist Slash has quashed rumours he wants to rejoin Guns N’ Roses.
The guitarist quit the band in 1996 after relations with singer Axl Rose broke down and internal strife within the group spiralled out of control.
Despite reports claiming he is on the brink of working with Axl again, Slash – who reunited with two of his former Guns N’ Roses bandmates, bassist Duff McKagan and drummer Matt Sorum, to form Velvet Revolver – insists he has no intention of rejoining the band.
He told MTV: “I don’t know where these rumours come from, but I can definitely say, in the foreseeable future, I will have no involvement with that band whatsoever.”
A Sobering thought for Axl perhaps?
