In an video interview with Kikizo, Microsoft VP Peter Moore hinted at the end of XBox emulation updates with XBox 360. Xbox 360 users with hard drives can currently use software emulators which are required for each Xbox game.
He commented about six minutes into interview “Nobody is concerned anymore about backwards compatibility. We under promised and over delivered on that. It’s a very complicated thing… very complex work. I’m just stunned that we have hundreds of games that are backwards compatible.”
