Walter Reckley, a lorry driver from Germany recently set his truck’s cab ablaze whilst trying to fry himself some sausages.

He decided to cook the sausages because he was running late for a delivery and was feeling rather hungry, luckily he had his trusty mini gas cooker which he used to cook when the truck was stopped.

Today however Reckley did not have the time to stop so instead he chose to cook whilst driving, whilst traveling past Niederwuerschnitz in Saxony (in Germany) the cooker toppled over setting alight his passenger seat.

In turn the fire spread and spread until it had engulfed the entire cab, Reckling was later taken to a local hospital and treated for smoke inhalation where it turned out that he was 3 times over the legal alcohol limit.
