I personally wouldn't mind a little cross promotion of games made by the same company, but when it's just blatent advertising, then that's going too far. And how long will it be before ads in games "phone home" and start collecting info on you, and what ads you react too? Big Brother is watching you play... And as fer the game, I'm not into the soccer / football thing. But I was watching a local computer show here in Oz, and they had similar views to you on the game being better or at least comparable to FIFA.
