Even if they can capture 10% of what DVD did that's a huge piece of the movie market. Up until about 2 months ago I was sure that HD-DVD would take over. Now I'm actually considering getting a PS3. Because of firmware updates the PS3 is by far the most future proof BluRay player. Even though the PS3 has cost Sony this round of the video game console wars it looks like it’s going to eventually pay off for them. Even if they can capture 10% of what DVD did that’s a huge piece of the movie market.

I think your right though, there's certainly a hell of a lot more Blue-ray DVD's in the shops though.
