God of War III looks like it’s going to turn out to be one hell of a game if the screenshots released by Sony today are anything to go by.

I don’t know what else we can say other than enjoy! Sony hasn’t revealed a release date for the game yet, but says we’ll find out at E3 this year.

God of War III is the forthcoming installment in the God of War video game franchise, currently in development for the PlayStation 3.

The game was announced at E3 2008 and is the fifth chapter in the series chronologically, after God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War, God of War: Betrayal and God of War II.
