Enjoy the caps from episode 1x13! This was most likely series finale, but I'm hoping that FOX will give Alcatraz a second short season and move it to Fridays.

I am so sick of watching shows that get cancelled.... I keep saying to myself I'm just going to give up TV all together. honestly I'm really almost there. I mean really, there just isn't anything on that is worth watching anymore. reality after reality is just BULL. everything that has a hint of something good never makes it past first seasons anymore, so frustrating.

I'm not interested in any half assed, half hearted, half baked half season... why waste people's time further on something that we all know will have way less production value. and stumble all over its self trying to come up with a cleaver way to end it.

maybe I'll be wrong... we'll see

just think of all I could get done with out wasting my time with TV.

That's how I feel right now. I have the last episode of the river on DVR and it's just sitting there.... I don't know if I want to waste the time watching a show that is pretty much going to be cancelled.

At least with some of the cable shows I watch (Sons of Anarchy and The Walking Dead) I know that they will be around for a few more years. But network TV shows don't last that long it seems, well at least the ones I like LOL. I'm hoping that one of my favorite shows, Blue Bloods gets renewed, I really think that is a good show.

Well, some shows get better endings, some get worse. Alcatraz desperately needs a proper ending, because it left the viewers with ten times more questions than answers... As for The River, the ending was mediocre. They closed the story but they did it in a way so they could reopen it again if the network was interested. And just as geo360 said, it's generally safer to watch cable shows - they often end on their own terms and even when they're cancelled it's usually announced early so there's plenty of time to tie up loose ends.
