Zimbabwe bat, two new faces for NZ Toss Zimbabwe chose to bat v New Zealand

Brendan Taylor opted to bat in the opening Twenty20 international, at Eden Park. New Zealand continued use this series to experiment with new faces, fielding three Twenty20 debutants, all from Auckland - Colin de Grandhomme, Ronnie Hira and Michael Bates.
de Grandhomme, the batting allrounder, and Hira, the left-arm spinner, are the two uncapped players in the line-up. Bates, the left-arm seamer, made his ODI debut at Napier on Thursday.
Zimbabwe brought Forster Mutizwa, Hamilton Masakadza and Keegan Meth into the line-up. Taylor will open the batting.
