Arsenal striker Benik Afobe is set to join Bolton Wanderers on loan, BBC Radio Manchester reports.
Afobe, who has previously had loan spells with Reading and Huddersfield, could link up with Wanderers before Saturday's friendly at Portsmouth.
The 19-year-old has never played a first-team game for the Gunners.
Bolton have signed Keith Andrews, Matt Mills, Joe McKee and Andy Lonergan so far this summer, as they prepare for their return to the Championship.
