ATM here in CO it's super-easy to get a card, I even think they have people circumventing certain parts of the system so people are obtaining them without any real medical issues. I have a feeling that will change soon. People such as my self with the accomanying medical history will still be taken care of.
Eventually they'll completely legalize and tax the shit out of it.
But for the time being, an interesting anecdote; It's allready begun, I've heard of some sort of push to require that the Dispensary owners, known as "caregivers" legally, to actually provide a care-giving service beyond supplying the medicine, i.e. "bathing" or "feeding" the patients. This is one of the sneaky ways the gov can try to put a stop to this in the state of Colorado.
Imagine some pothead with a bad back who can't take prescrip painkillers needing to be given a bath by some other dude haha! I think the guy they interviewed on the local news was broadcast as saying "all I need is help eating while on radiation, not some guy bathing and feeding me." lol
