Selena Gomez and Nick Jonas may be making a little magic together, but the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star is confirming that she won’t confirm it.

Rumors of the Disney stars’ hook up have been flying and the two have been spotted together out and about in LA, Gomez has been seen video messaging the musician and yet she won’t confirm a romantic entanglement.

In the upcoming issue of TV Guide, Gomez says:

“I’ve gotten really close to the entire Jonas family this past year. Nick and I are getting to know each other, but we’re not confirming anything.”

Gomez did confirm admiration for one person: Disney alum and “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf.

“I’ve had a crush on him ever since he was on Even Stevens,” Gomez admits. “It’s very far-fetched, but I would love to have Shia on Wizards.”

In the interview, she also denies a feud with Nick’s ex, Miley Cyrus. The YouTube video that started it all was “completely blown out of proportion. That video was ages ago, and it’s so irrelevant and not important to everything else going on.”

Though she made her fame on family-friendly Disney Channel, Gomez doesn’t believe she can be a “perfect” role model for her fans: “I’m going to do the best that I can do, but I am 16 and I am going to make mistakes - no one’s perfect.”
