A photo of Michael Jackson in his open casket this evening could be worth millions.
And, for now, the Jackson family has not yet indicated if any photos of the late King of Pop will even be taken in his casket, let alone sold to the highest bidding media outlet.
Earlier tonight the world learned that the casket would indeed be open for Jackson's final memorial service before being interred at Forrest Lawn Cemetery.
With the high profile location and the gaggle of media nearby, it's easy to see how a possible security breach (some have already been reported but not confirmed) could lead to a final photo of Jackson being taken - with or without the consent of family.
Why would the Jackson family sell a photo of their deceased loved one?
Although there is no reason to believe that any such auction will actually occur, some speculate that Michael Jackson's debt is far more substantial than most realize and the five to ten million that some predict this photo could be worth is likely very attractive to some close to Jackson.
Also, with growing speculation that Michael Jackson faked his own death, a casket photo could very well silence those rumors once and for all.
Should the Jacksons make public any photo of Michael Jackson in his casket - if not for the money, for the fans?

Geez, he's been dead for more than two months and they still haven't buried him properly? What a charade. The saddest thing about this is that some people are actually eager to see his corpse in the newspaper or in the Internet.
