Well... she said that she was broke; that her parents had used up all of her money (which was true). A judge allowed the parents to use her trust fund to save her family from bankruptcy.

"When I turned 20 my family filed for bankruptcy and a judge allowed my money from my trust fund to go toward bailing the family of out of debt. All of my money went to cover the bankruptcy. I couldn't believe it. In an instant I was dead broke."

The truth is that she allowed the judge to use that money, him having asked her if she would allow it. She was 19 and legally an adult. Within the year she was drinking, doing drugs, and doing porn... because, she said, "I was broke".
