Default Megan Fox (Red dress) at the 09 Spike TV Scream Awards

She accepted the award for Transformers 2 and is now a public hypocrite. I mean how does such a horrible film win in the first place much less how do you pick a star who openly criticized the movie and said it sucks get picked to go up there and thank people for making a great film, fans showing support (which they didn't), and all the other BS stuff that is said in those speeches?

The only reason for T2 receiving an award would be for special effects which were awesome. If it was for something else then it means Spike Awards mean s**t.

Well it actually won best Sci-Fi Film. I still don't see how other than the fact my mind is having trouble coming up with any other sci-fi films that would have been in the running for this category. The past year has been kind of slow with real big sci-fi films. Mostly it has been vampires, zombies, and other assorted crap comedies aimed at the mindless teens who think stupidity is funny.

True some comedies like The Proposal were good and most zombie flicks are decent to watch but really this past year has really lacked in the science fiction department. Most of the sci-fi stuff actually came on TV this year.

Best sci-fi film? C'mon, what about District 9 or even Star Trek? Spike Awards DO suck then.

OH yeah!!!!! District 9!!! My brain really is shot & fried!! I couldn't think of any other sci-fi films at all. Thanks Zen. Spike awards don't really suck though they usually are good at picking winners based on who has the hottest actresses in them which still makes them suck & broken but from a different point of view.

I got to say the film was a bit confusing during the battle at the end i had no idea who was who as far as robots, and therefore didnt kno wtf was going on for like a half hour. I agree they had one of the best effects of any movie, but i understand why D9 didn't get it. D9 was all about the story with minimal CGI throughout, i mean they did a few aliens but for the most part it was just humans and then at the end they wrapped up a lot of CGI. If anyone should get mad props for special effects it should be the people that put together the Halo 3: ODST trailer. if THEY made a movie, I'd call in sick to see it on opening day, hands down.
