We had a few minor issues but in general I'm happy with the way the move has gone.

Our new server offers us a significant performance uplift over our previous one so you should find your posting and browsing experience a much quicker and stable one.

Hopefully we should be good on this box for at least the next couple of years so thanks for yor support and patience whilst we competed the transfer.

Due to a number of minor complications on Saturday and sheer lack of time on Sunday (aka keeping the wife and kids happy ;) ) I've had to delay the move until further notice.

Apologies for the time that the forums were taken off line. Your patience is appreciated. :)

Posting has now been re-enabled in all forums and new member registrations have also been re-activated.

Just an early heads up!

We have Recently purchased a new server which is in the process of being configured.

Once we're ready, the site will be locked down (to stop new posts or registrations being lost during the transfer process) and we'll then start to transfer the database and files to the new box.

Curreny we have over 70 Gig of images which will need to be transferred. As such the transfer may take a little time.

We'll provide further updates once we commence the transfer process.

Apologies for the down time, our database became corrupt and we've had some significant issues over the last 12 hours or so trying to fix it :hairpull:

Lets just say that it appears to be fixed now however please let me know if you find anything strange.

As an aside - We may be moving home soon to a new server so please watch this space.
