8, seems pretty good. XP was a 10, Vista is pretty good too.

I prefer XP over Vista. Vista is even more of a memory hog than XP. Somehow that seems like a big shortcoming for Vista.

Vista still has alot of bugs and alot of programs are not compatible with it yet. Plus, I'd say stick with your Xp for now. There are no dx10 games out yet in the market so getting Vista would be a bit of a waste i feel. Furthermore your graphics card is not DX10-capable. If you like fancy stuff like the Flip3D and LiveThumbnail you could consider installing Vista. But ultimately i feel there's no reason in doing so since XP could do what Vista does plus it is not as demanding as the Vista.

I agree, I upgraded to Vista and find myself using XP again.
