Grand Theft Auto IV's first official expansion, The Lost and the Damned, will be released exclusively on the Xbox 360 on February 17. The expansion will feature new music, vehicles, missions, and multiplayer modes, as you take on the role of Johnny Klebbitz, a member of the biker gang The Lost.
While GTA IV did get great reviews everywhere, I didn't really find that much enjoyment in it. After just playing San Andreas, I found that a lot of the stuff that was great about that game was changed or gone entirely. It felt more like Vice City, but with updated graphics. I mean I was just not moved by it enough to find any reason to play it anymore. (especially since you keep getting phone calls from your stupid-ass cousin) So you probably won't be surprised when I say I will not be forking over the Microsoft Points to purchase the expansion that comes out next month.
On a similar and possibly more surprising note, I recently picked up a copy of Saint's Row 2, which is said to be basically a crappy copy of the Grand Theft Auto series, and found out that this was actually a pretty fun game. The story picks up right where the first one ended and it compelled me to find out what happened next as you try and rebuild your dwindled respect. I also must mention that the ending was far more satisfying than the ending to the first Saint's Row. (I won't give anything away but revenge is sweet!)

The activities are still as fun as they were in the first one and the customization of your character is pretty in-depth. All in all, I prefer the crappy copy, Saint's Row 2, to the "real deal", GTA IV, any day of the week.
