A new game! Just saw this today!

"The game is based on the Ghostbusters film franchise. Ghostbusters creator Dan Aykroyd has confirmed that the game is essentially Ghostbusters III

All of the original Ghostbusters return to reprise their roles in this follow-up."

The Ghostbusters video game is set to release on June 16 to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the original film for pretty much every system that's worth mentioning: PS2, PS3, Wii, DS, PC, and of course, the XBOX 360. Ghostbusters will be a third-person action game, with a camera that sits just over the shoulder of your character, similar to the Gears of War games, I assume.

Quick Note: I read somewhere in the initial reviews that the Wii version will differ from the other systems in that it is aimed at the younger audiences, so it will most likely lose a little bit of the action or any 'gore', and I use gore very loosely here, that the PS3 or the 360 versions will have.

Anyway, it looks to be a decent game. The graphics look pretty nice, the gameplay videos I've already seen look to be a lot of fun, and with the original cast returning, I'm betting that the VO's will be amazing. So, yeah, I reckon I am excited at seeing this game's release.

The Wii version has a cartoony look as opposed to realistic. Also the gameplay is suppose to be more puzzle based with less action. I'll see if I can find some screen shots to show comparisons.

Yeah, the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions definitely look superior. I guess they figured if the graphics can't look as sharp they might as well change them entirely.

im glad that they didnt rush to finish this game. hopefully its going to be as good as it looks!

Mediocre game if you ask me. Fun to play for about one hour and then it gets very repetitive.

I ran out and got this game for the pc. I have a buddy that got it for the WII. The pc version is good. The story line is par compared to the movies. There are a few one liners that are pretty funny. I got it for the story more than the game play. The gameplay is okay. Graphics are great on higher end video cards, the aren't bad on lower end. It did get pretty choppy on my 512mb card with graphics turned up, my 1gig card ran it perfectly. The WII has two player 2nd no named char is a female and the story line varies some from the pc version. PC version has a little more storyline, but is limited to single player. If your a fan of the series. It is worth buying on either of these systems. PC version in better for the die hard fans just for the content, and it was almost half the price of the other versions. Enjoy!

Still waiting for this game on my 360 as it still hasn't released in UK yet due to Sony's exclusivity deal, still can't wait though, i love the Ghostbusters, lookin forward to bustin' making me feel good!
