I'm getting a router(FINALLYYYY) so i could play online and i was wonderin if anybody could list any good online games other den GearsOfWar1&2 and Halo
Turok sucked IMO, both in singleplayer as well as in multiplayer. If you like tactical shooters I would recommend Advanced Warfighter and Rainbow Six Vegas series. I've played all four games on my PC (identical copies to 360 games) and they were GREAT.
I don't know. I found Turok to be relatively fun. I have to agree with you on the multiplayer though. I liked the story, even though it strayed far away from the comics. I also loved the ability to use the knife and the bow. The only other FPS I can think of where you can use a bow is Call of Juarez, which is only fun in moderation. Turok wasn't the traditional Tom Clancy game either (modern day tactical FPS's), which are fun, but get very repetitive. Even CoD4, which is a fun game in multiplayer, got old to me real fast. To me, a great story is very important in a game.

Left 4 Dead is a really fun game to play online and requires a lot of cooperation between players. Also since the patch you don't have any more stupid cheaters who mine up your path as a survivor and prevent you from completing the level. If you are interested though in the game online you must have a mic. If you don't people will not play with you because the game requires so much cooperation that you can't effectively play if you can't communicate.
A side not as well to all L4D fans on April 21st new content will be available to DL from Live that will have new levels and, possibly, a new survivor and infected for multiplayer.
Another good one to play online that is fun, quick fights, and relatively easy to play is LOTR Conquest. The one player is good enough to own the game for and the online play is just a bonus. However I will say that the EA servers are a bit unreliable at times.
Of course you have the usual games that have been listed like Halo 3.
I will say avoid Tom Clancy's Hawks. The single player is great if you like piloting games but the online sucks to no end. You play up to 4x4 Team Deathmatches but nobody helps anybody out. Nobody really knows how to play and just spams their missiles then either kills themselves or gets shot down real quickly and repeats the process. Also people frequently drop out games and if you don't watch out you can find yourself in a 4 on 1 game real fast. Also mot games are played for 10 minute rounds and you spend 75+ percent of that time trying to dodge missiles if you actually try and not die. The game is literally no fun online and the only reason to do it would be to get the achievements and complete the challenges for it in which, apart from the missile avoidance ones, you need a private match with people who are willing to help you since most are nigh impossible in a regular match.
I, on the other hand, don't recommend LotR Conquest. Aside from the fact that it ANNIHILATES mythology of the Tolkien trilogy, it's really not fun to play both in single & multi. Character classes are all screwed, the levels and modes are boring and it looks bad.
One of my first games I got for the 360 was Crackdown. Great single player, and really fun co-op if you know someone else with the game. Also check out the Orange Box. Online multi doesn't get much better than Team Fortress 2. And of course Call of Duty 4 is good too.
Another vote for Left4Dead and CoD4. I'll also have to point you at the range of sports games - Fifa is brilliant online. if you like fighting games VF5 and SF IV both play well online.
