Other members need to give you rep points, for your reputation to increase (or decrease). The best way to earn rep points is to post either news articles, or celeb pics. But given the community has varying tastes, you are not always guaranteed of earning rep points, so patience and effort is required. And you need a certain level of rep points to access forums like videos and NSFW pics.

To give someone rep points, you click on the scale icon on their post. But please be aware, that asking for rep points is frowned upon here, and will actually make you lose rep points (or even be banned from the site)

how funny that i post alot and i dont get no rep i see other people with fewer posts and they have like 15 to 20 rep wow i guess my post ain't worth looking at .

17 posts is not "alot". Especially when they consist of 1 line replies, and images hosted off-site (which is against the site rules). This is not the way to earn rep points. This site is about making a worthwhile contribution to the site, not just trying to earn rep points. If there is a purpose to your rep point building (e.g. accessing the restricted parts of the site), then I suggest that you put some more effect into your posting, and start following the sites rules and guidelines.
