Default What exactly is the rule for "Internet Models"

I have seen so many models being posted on the site in the last couple of days and was wondering what or who exactly can't be posted. I mean what is the criteria for an "Internet Model" who can't be posted.

Just a few links for some in the last couple of day [some are NSFW]:

1. http://www.newsgab.com/forum/celebri...ack-dress.html

http://www.newsgab.com/forum/celebri...-lingerie.html

2. http://www.newsgab.com/forum/celebri...permarket.html

3. http://www.newsgab.com/forum/celebri...ess-model.html

I am just curious because a couple of them are identified as "Internet Models" and have not been deleted and other models are just floating around the site.

So for any questionable ones just do a basic IMDB search and see if any "real" TV shows pop up, gotcha ya. I was very curious since the term "Internet Model" is pretty vague and most models appear not only on the internet but also in Magazine which made wonder what the criteria was. Thanks for stating it in very plain and clear terms.

Just a suggestion but you may want to add this, or create, a sticky thread stating this the words you used "If they haven't been on tv don't use them" which will help clear up confusion and make it easy to point to a clear statement when the models start popping up.

I think if they are popular enough to be considered a celebrity they can be posted. I would say any with fame less than the "Big Brother" cast lists would be not considered a celebrity. I think anyone who can grab main steam media attention would be considered a celebrity.

It's hard to put the rules in black and white. It's more of a judgment call than anything. Unfortunately not everyone has good judgment. I guess that's what mods are for.

Don't think all your help isn't appreciated in sorting out some of these judgment calls fadeout001.

Doesn't that kind of mean Kate Moss pictures should be taken down? We also have pictures of Page3 models up, who really don't tend to do TV work, they are famous for magazine work.

Likewise they might have starred in an episode of something like Sexcetera or likewise.

I'm just muddying the water I know. It does seem difficult sometimes to know whether to post or not. I've learned to ask a moderator first just to be sure.

The biggest thing is it can't se set from internet models sites. If thjey show up on IMDB and it's not a photoshoot from a site or banned magazine I think it's fine.

I think the rough rule of thumb is if they're from a "paid access" site, then they're not for public distribution. Ish.

Well this topic was started before I became a mod and was asking so I would know which ones to report or not report. Anyway we will be going with Ken's answer from now on since it is at the mods discretion what gets cut and doesn't get cut.

I am also closing this topic before any one tries to argue with anything said here.
