South Korean to Succeed Kulfi Annan.

Ban Ki-moon has been formally elected to lead the the UN for the next five years. Kulfi Annan completes the second of his allowed two terms at the end of this year. Mr Ban, 62, will be the first Asian to head the UN since Burma’s U Thant, held the post from 1961 to 1971. [...]
