This had to happen some time. YouTube has been operating on its own terms for a while now, but you knew that sooner or later, one of the big cable companies was going to say, "enough is enough". I'm interested to see how this plays out in court.

yea but its more likely that people watch shows on other sites than youtube. Even if youtube goes down, theres still so many different sites where you can watch shows it would be impossible to police

Who cares! They should be happy that fans actually want to watch their programs. Youtube is the best because of that fact! You can go there for the lastest videos and the oldest. Ashely Tisdale performed last night on America's Got Talent and I didn't get to catch it but I watched it on Youtube today. Thanks Youtube!

Have you ever checked out Movie Sister.com? I'm wondering why no one has tried to sue them yet... they host full length movies that are still in theaters that you can watch online. It's streaming video, just like YouTube, but I'm sure that what they're doing is WAY more illegal...
