I recently rented this film, and for the most part, it was pretty good. The only things I didn't like was the fact it was about kids, it was Swedish, and the shots were not very well placed. I blame the DP for the last one, but for a foreign film it wasn't bad.
Let the Right One In is about a boy who lives in an apartment complex of some sort with his mother. One day, a man and what seems to be his daughter move in to the apartment next to them. The boy ends up befriending the little girl who just moved in, and things seem to go well. After a while, however, the boy finds out that his neighbor (the little girl) is in fact a vampire.
It was a decent film, but in my opinion, can't compete with the other vampire films out there, i.e. 30 Days of Night, Underworld, etc. I hate to say this, but I enjoyed Twilight (yes, that chick flick that everyone is obsessed over) more than Let the Right One In.
