I didn't care much for Iron man 1. I might be the only one.

Probably, X. It has to be one of the best comic-book adaptations around. I'm looking forward to Iron Man 2, the Avengers, and Captain America.

I have to agree. Wolverine Origin (based on the script is going to be a good adaptation to if you ignore Wolverine's part. The script is written from Deadpool's origins and all characters and events fit that history apart from the story changes to make Wolverine's history match what was presented in X-Men movies. I am actually glad they have started keeping finer details in comic movies such as Ironman's alcohol problem and his attitude as a chauvinistic, egotistical womanizer. I also have to say based on the Wolverine trailer the fact they are showing Wolverine had claws before the Weapon's X program is a nice little addition as well. It is usually lost in the newer comics that he had claws before joining Weapon's X and as such I thought they would leave it out when I first heard about the movie. His original Bone Claws ended up covered in Adamantium during his "procedure" caused his claws to develop the shiny metal claws we all know as Wolverine's. Due to his childhood trauma he completely forgets that he has them until he wakes up in the Weapon's X lab and based on pure instinct extends them.

The only movie I am not looking forward to at the moment is Thor's film. I have never liked Thor as a character and, apart from the Ultimate Universe storyline, have never thought his character fit in the Marvel Universe. His original set up was he was a true god. That is all well and good but that doesn't give him a good set up in the Marvel Universe. The Ultimate series one would make a better movie and character though because he called himself a god but everyone just thought he was a nut job with powers who happened to fight for the side of good.

I may actually be among the minority who actually thought the new Hulk movie was really good. I thought that one was very well done in all aspects and I like how they changed The Hulk and made him smart instead of the dumb brute who just does one thing: "Hulk smash"

I agree. I'm just waiting to see if they put all those cryptic endings to good use, and make a blockbuster with Ironman, The Punisher, and The Hulk, all part of S.H.I.E.L.D. Now that would be a blast!!!.

I haven't heard of Punisher being in it. But the Avengers are supposedly going to cover the original group: Thor, Captain America, Ironman, the Hulk, and I have heard Ant Man is going to supposedly be in it as well. The film got pushed back to a 2012 release date now.

that's what The Avengers is, man. The endings were, and still are building up to the film. Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, and Ant Man/Giant Man are The Avengers. Nick Fury will be in it, too. Look for The Avengers in theaters in like 2012.

And I agree, fadeout. Thor was just one of those characters that never appealed to me, either. Also, 2008's The Incredible Hulk was much better than Hulk starring Eric Bana. I felt like it was more true to the comics and I, too must admit it was awesome hearing Hulk say that at the end.

----Quick note: The Punisher was never an Avenger and he never will be one simply because he kills his victims. (Except for the What If? story where he became Cap)(On a similar note, Frank Castle was also part of SHIELD in a separate What If? issue) But, the Punisher remains my favorite Marvel character.

Is Don Cheadle no longer cast as Rhodes in Ironman II?

As for Captain America, my interest will depend upon whether Matthew McConaughey is cast in the lead role.

Don Cheadle is still cast to play the role of James Rhodes in the film. And I hope to God that Matthew McConaughey is not cast as Steve Rogers. That would make all of my respect for the Marvel film franchise, what little is left, go right out of the window. He would be the worst Captain America of all time. End of story.

    Couldn't agree more.
