This movie is great. I saw it in an IMAX theater and was blown away by the effects. I suggest watching it this way.

I didn't like the first movie and I didn't like this one as well. It's just I can't relate with the "shape" of the robots. I used to watch "transformers" back in the 80s and from that kind of robot models to these ones, big change! The script is pretty lame too.

I think this movie can be summed up like this: Is there such a thing as too much cake, yes there is

There is very little writing talent in Hollywood today. If you can't come up with a good plot or dialog then you fall back on senseless action. Blow things up.

Hello Everyone,

I loved the first transformers, the acting/humour was superb and the action was AMAZING. I was super anxious for transformers 2 and after about an hr I was anxious to leave. I couldn't take it anymore, everything was stepped up to a bad degree. Too loud, too much action, too much horrendous jokes and way too many robots! Half the time i was trying to figure out whos who and there were so many plot holes that bugged me, this all being in the first hr alone. There were three characters that I truly DETESTED, the twin robots and that greasy haired buffoon of room-mate, it doesn't get any more annoying than those three. GAHHH and when all three of them were in the same scene I wanted to kill myself.

Those two robots made Jar Jar Binks look like the Terminator!
Another thing they call this movie "Revenge Of The Fallen".
I hot a problem with that!
The Fallen didn't get their Revenge!
FAIL!

Honestly....the only thing I can recall about this movie are the scenes of Megan Fox crawling around and scrambling while bent over, thereby giving the camera a wonderful "down-blouse" angle which the cinematographer took full advantage of at every opportunity (no really...go back and count the scenes that involve direct shots of her chest )

All of which I am sure is the very reason she was cast in the first place

Great plot?...not really (if you watched the cartoons at all, you've got the gist of it)

Good dialogue?...Um....not really again...it kind felt llike it was written in haste and acted in even more haste.

Terrific CGI and lots of action sequences? OK...I'll give it these two things.

Coupled with the other two things (both Megan's)...it was probably worth the price of the ticket when all was said and done.

Entertaining Evening? Yes
Great Film? Not even close

I give it a C++ (and those two plusses are for Megan's two... )

I think you need to watch the first movie again and then the second makes more sense. Still a good movie though.
