I'll be seeing it when it comes out, I was unsure about the first one just because I wasn't sure what the story would be but now I know what they can do and I'm excited to see the film.
Well, checking out the trailer of Transformers 2 - The revenge of the fallen and It looks like it's going to be a pretty great sequal to the original transformers film.
Megan fox doesn't look to bad in it either
Anyone else looking forward to seeing the new Transformers film? If I needed an excuse to take my 6 year old son to the theatre, this would be it![]()

I am getting dragged to it by friends. The first one sat well with me only as a Action Film but didn't deserve the right to be called Transformers. They tagged a few iconic names onto some robots put basic colors to match the cartoon a bit and then just threw in a random story. No history was accurate, no characters were done right, Megatron was utter crap when he turned into a ship and not a gun, and who decides to name a Tank "Devastator" when that robot only came when (originally) 6 robots which then became 5 later in the series joined into one. The construtocons each had individual names but only became Devastator after joining into one.
Also two looks like it will be worse as they are bringing Megatron back as Galvatron without even introducing Unicron (come to think of it there are to many "trons" in Transformers). If he transforms into anything but a cannon I may just walk out of the theater. The bad robot is going to be Skorpinox who was a member of a very powerful race of transformers who could control other robots using psychic powers. His race was so powerful all but him lost their bodies and exist solely has heads. With this they are skipping a very large portion of the story line and once again bringing in iconic names and big robots into an action flick and tagging on Transformers in order to not get sued for stealing copyrighted names.
The only thing that will be good about this movie was the same thing that was decent in the first: The fact that the camera will try to focus on Megan Fox's body any chance it gets.

Does anyone know if there will be a Pretender in the film or was that more of the filmmakers' misdirection?
All right, look, there's only one "Return," okay, and it ain't "of the King," it's "of the Jedi." - Randal Graves, Clerks 2

I don't know anything about the history of transformers. I did enjoy the first movie, for the most part, but thought the fight scenes were extremely hard to follow. From the trailer I've seen, it looks like the've pulled the camera back a little, and slowed it down just a fraction, enough to make the fighting understandable. I can dig that.
Think for yourself. Question authority.

I loved the first movie, but I hope they don't do the classic sequel killer. Too many characters! Remember Batman and Robin, besides the horrible acting there were too many actors. In the trailers Transformers look like they have a whole bunch of robots, and I hope they have enough time to highlight them all. Not just hey there is (desepticon name) lets kill it. Allthough I think it looks sweet I will definately have to see it. Crossing my fingers though.
I'm looking forward to the sequel because I really liked the first one. The sequel has a high bar to get over after the first movie. The first one is one of my favorite movies!!
Alright dudes, I know I haven't really been on here in a while, but I'm definitely going to see this flick at the midnight showing tonight, so I'll write a review for it tomorrow...unless someone beats me to it.![]()

Okay. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opened nationwide today. The film, as most of you know, is the sequel to the 2007 blockbuster, Transformers. Like its predecessor, Revenge of the Fallen was directed by Micheal Bay and stars Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox. Basically, the film takes place a little while after the first one, with the Autobots eliminating the remaining Decepticons all across the world. The film's main character, Sam Witwicky, is about to go off to college when he discovers a piece of the All-Spark in some of his belongings. Upon touching the All-Spark, he begins seeing symbols that turn out to be directions to an ancient and powerful device with the ability to destroy the planet. Upon learning about this, the remaining Decepticons resurrect a fallen ally and take it upon themselves to hunt down Sam, take the information he has, and try to use it to find the device. It's up to Optimus Prime and the rest of the Autobots to stop them...if they can.
Okay, 'nuff summarizing. Time for the review. The story was decent. I got extremely tired of everyone dieing off and coming back to life ten minutes later. One minute the dude's dead and gone, and the next, some magic powder brings him back to life? I mean, I'll buy that the All-Spark had the power to resurrect the Transformers, but when they start bringing humans back to life, I draw the line. Anyway, the special effects were amazing, of course, and the acting wasn't bad. The actual screenplay was actually pretty good, mixing just enough comedic moments to counteract the drama and compliment the action sequences, so that's a plus. Speaking of the action, it's what you'd expect from a Micheal Bay film...lots of 'splosions.
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was a pretty good flick, but the first one was a much, much, much better film. With that said, I would still recommend going to see it sometime soon. It's a pretty good action film, but if you haven't seen the first one, you will be slightly confused with the story. So, see Transformers first, then go check out Revenge of the Fallen. I give the film a 7.7/10...because watching dogs humping is always a rewarding experience...for someone.

Probably the best film i've seen in a long time.
I watched this and it was awful. The ONLY good thing was looking at the new girl and Fox. The pace was so fast in parts I needed a sea sick pill. The writing was WORSE than a something on the Disney channel. But that sweet hot Megan Fox is so pretty its beyond words. WOW what a woman. Also the wife said look around you are the oldest man in here, a nice little kick.![]()
