Angels and Demons Review

Well, I have to say this movie was not what I was hoping for. I loved the first one, riddled with puzzles and exotic locations, and some not so exotic. This movie took most of the "treasure hunting" aspect out of it. Dr. Landon didn't really utilize his symbolic skills the way he did in the first, he just mumbled on about how he wants to get into the vatican archives so he can finish his book..ooooooo..ahhhhh. This movie was also a more violent, which didn't bother me, but an observation non the less. This movie was too linear in the way that everything was "pointing" to something and that this lead to that. There were some twists and turns in the plot but nothing to leave you with that sense of "wow! didn't see that one coming" overall I give this movie a 4.5/10. Rent it if you want to see it or even better, if you get out go to the cheap theater, you will be saving money depending on where you live. Have a good day!

I've got to agree. I didn't like it either. The first one was decent at best. I fell asleep watching the Da Vinci Code in the theater. You can't with Angels and Demons simply because of the explosions and the action and such throughout the film...but you will feel the urge to snooze early on.

I loved the Da Vinci Code, but I tought that Angle and Demons was not as good. It was OK, not great.
