What genre of music does Erin McCarley's song style fall into? (before I go out and buy something I end up regretting)

good question...it's a little hard to put her into a specific genre, but if i had to say i would say a softer alternative style with an emphasis on vocals. i dont know, my advice would be to youtube her songs and decide for yourself. my favorite of her's is "Love, Save the Empty" which was i heard in the movie "he's just not that into you."
