Musicians?

Just curious? Do any of you play an instrument? Sing in a band?

What instruments do you play? Style? Influences? Aspiring musician, or just a hobby? How's the scene where you live?

I play the guitar, bass and I'm just starting out on the keys and the drums. I've played in a handful of local jam bands, but nothing big. Lately I've been concentrating on writing my own songs.

Sorry if I sound gabby. Just curious, and I love to talk about the creation of music and the process its self.

I played drums in my middle school band and guitar for a while when I was in high school, but that was about it.

I played drums for about a year in 4th grade, but I wasn't getting it, so I quit.

Nah. Maybe after I actually DO have some of my own stuff recorded. I'm saving up for a little home studio box, but it's been tough. Music stuff takes a back seat to bills, gas, food and rent.

Hahah. Yep, that's the way it goes. I have a buddy by the name of Jay, we started playing at just about the same time about eight years ago. Now, I look like I've been playing for about eight years. But he looks like a fifteen year or more veteran.

What an A-hole... lol.
