OK so most of our older members will remember these ancient relics mostly used in TV. They used to be songs that were written and tailored to the show to either tell what the show was about or describe some feeling, emotion, or character within the show. However now-a-days shows no longer have theme songs and usually just use a tune or some random music from pop culture.
A few exceptions that I know of is Firefly & the James Bond films (save for Quantum of Solace which in my opinion was not a theme song that described that movie).
I truly miss theme songs because they helped give a show some identity instead of it being a repeat of another show that takes place in a different city or with a slightly different plot and a different cast.
So I thought I would start this thread to post some of your favorite theme songs that described the shows they were used on, reminisce on older times, and see what all we can come up with.
My choices:
1. As a Firefly Fan, I nominate its theme song as that describes Mal (the main character) perfectly:

2. One for the older members here: Gummi Bears (Disney Cartoon) which describes the characters, a bit of history, and a bit of the story:

3. Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers which describes the basic plot of the show:

4. Transformers (The 1986 Cartoon movie) which was pretty much (a remix of the theme song used for the show, describes the story & characters:

5: Scooby-Doo (Should be completely obvious):
