Hi Guys, we had a pretty significant server outage last night but I wasn't aware until late this morning due to EBC issues (OK, Excessive Beer Consumption)

Apologies for the down time but we should be good to go now.

The outage that happened last night into today is the same thing that I reported earlier. I sent you the pm as requested Chief and hopefully this resolves that issue. I think I was getting a early warning for this since I was losing connection with the server 2 or 3 times a week for the past 2 or 3 weeks.

Did the server go out again? I couldn't get the site to load at all yesterday. I fell asleep around 7 central time and as of then I still couldn't log on.

Every time the page tried to load I recieved this error message:

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

The network link was interrupted while negotiating a connection. Please try again.

Is/was this just me or did it happen to others?

No wonder I'm posting dupes yesterday. The seerver was messed up, searches were screwed up. Looks like we are back to normal! Good.

server is still cutting in and out. It went down again right after I finished my posting and just now came back up.

Man I thought my internet connection wasnt working right,
but luckily the problem wasnt my pc !!! pffff Good to see newsgab
is up and running again

Sorry guys, been having a few traffic spikes recently causing Database errors. We're trying to resolve the recent issues but if you could bear with us in the meantime.

I have just restarted some stuff on the server. Things should be OK for now. Will investigate later.
