It didn't take long for T.O. to find a new home.
Terrell Owens has agreed to a one-year, $6.5 million deal with the Buffalo Bills, according to sources. The Bills called a 6:15 p.m. news conference Saturday to announce the signing. According to a source, the entire contract is guaranteed.
Owens visited the Bills on Saturday. He was released by the Dallas Cowboys late Wednesday.
Owens' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said in a text message Friday that his client wouldn't be out of work for too long. Negotiations had begun with several teams, Rosenhaus said.
"There are several teams that are interested in signing Terrell," Rosenhaus said. "I have been in negotiations with these teams. I will not identify the teams at this time. Terrell and I expect to have a deal in place by the end of next week if not sooner." The Cowboys paid Owens a $12 million signing bonus last year, which was included as part of a new four-year, $34 million deal. Dallas took a roughly $9 million salary-cap hit when it released Owens.
There has been talk since the end of the Cowboys' 9-7 season, in which they missed the playoffs, that they would consider cutting Owens to improve locker room morale.
Owens finished with more catches (69), receiving yards (1,052) and touchdowns (10) last season than any player on the Bills' roster.
The Bills were in need of a receiver to take the pressure off Lee Evans. They got one of the biggest names out there. The question now is how T.O. will deal with Trent Edwards, who is entering only his second full year as starter. Owens has made life difficult for quarterbacks in the past and joins an offense that struggled mightily last year.
The Bills were 25th in the NFL in yards gained and failed to have a 300-yard passing game.

@ Ken, that's what she said.
@ the article: I live in Western NY and I watch the Bills every week. I hope TO can revive the team and help get them to the playoffs without running his mouth too much.

Honestly, I don't think he had many offers. For the talent he has this isn't exactly the ideal place for him to land. (No offense Buffalo) He probably would have gone to the Raiders if they had the salary cap room, which would have been a bigger hell!
If he ever got his head straight he'd be up there biting at Jerry Rice's heels. But his bad attitude will just hurt him. Let's hope the QB can get him the ball or he'll poison the Bills locker room by season's end.
Xray good luck with this guy. after watching him destroy my eagles and then loving every minute as he screwed up the cowboys. i know what he can do and it normally isn't good.
i feel bad for the bills after their owner screwed their fans last season by having the dolphins play a crucial late season game in toronto instead of the outdoors of buffalo.

The dude is talented, and no one can say that he does not play to win. It is just unfortunate that his personality has grown so big that it overshadows his onfield prowess.

No doubt! Even with all the dropped balls he has, at the end of the season his stats are always stellar. But his insecurities fuel his loud mouth and ego. If he can ever get over that and stop spelling team with an "I" he'd be the most powerful force in the game.
