A Pennsylvania woman claims that she was prevented from wearing into Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday a T-shirt that was critical of Eagles quarterback Mike Vick.
According to Don McKee of philly.com, 32-year-old Kori Martin claims she was not permitted to enter the game until she turned inside-out a shirt that said "Losers fight pitbulls" on the front, along with Vick's name and No. 7 crossed out. The back of the T-shirt said, "You don't deserve a second chance."
"Not only has Jeffrey Lurie and the Eagles organization supported a dog murderer by signing this convict, but now they want to take away my freedom of speech just because I don't agree with them?" Martin said.
Pamela Browner Crawley, the Eagles' V.P. of public affairs, told McKee that she is aware of no specific policy that bans T-shirts.
That's a far cry from a denial. Still, at this point, it's impossible to know with certainty whether the incident occurred.
If former Linc usher Dan Leone hadn't been fired for sounding off about the team, Facebook style, maybe he would have witnessed the exchange.
