We've all heard about Cars being fueled by water, cold fusion and other conspiracy theories involving unlimited or an abundant cheap energy source with the right technology anyone can utilize. Until the other day, I always chalked it up to conspiracy theories and anti-government crackpots perpetuating the idea that "Big Brother" is trying to control us.

It wasn't till I saw this video that I realized we could be at the dawn of a new age if this is actually legit, which based on some research backed by science appears true.

Turns out the way the gentlemen in the video is able to produce so much heat from water is by running an electric current through water a similar process to electrolysis.

electrolysis: 2 H2O → 2 H2 + O2
combustion: 2 H2 + O2 → 2 H2O

Electrolysis was invented in the 1800's and the idea of using Oxygen and or Hydrogen gas as a fuel source has been played around with for many years. The problem in the past is the amount of energy used to separate the two molecules into their gaseous form has always proved to be more expensive or used more energy then the outcome until recently.

Now how exactly the gentlemen in this video has tweaked the process of electrolysis and tipped the balance of energy output to be more cost effective is still a mystery to me. This makes perfect sense, if everyone knew how to duplicate his invention he probably wouldn't make much money off of his hard work.

However, we all dream of a day this technology is released to the general public and we are no longer slaves to the Oil companies and are able to fuel our vehicles and provide a clean cost effective source of energy for the entire planet. The possibilities are endless!
