Futurama is returning!

Finally, good shows Fox canceled are coming back. First they brought back Family Guy and now they are bringing back Futurama. I love this show.

They are coming out with 4 straight to DVD movies which will be split up and made into 30 minute episodes. The first movie is Benders Big Score.

It went on sale the 27th of Nov. Hopefully if all goes well, they will bring it back in new episodes and not cut up movies.

Rumor has it that they have made almost a full season of new episodes that will be airing on Comedy Central in the fall of 2008.

How about this DVD being released in the theater like the Simpsons did? That would probably make them decent money. I'd go see it.

The 4 DVDs are really like what Family Guy did with the "Stewie Griffen Story". They made like 4-5 episodes and then put them together on the DVD with no gaps, that way they can split it up into 4-5 30 minute episodes for tv.

I would like to see a full length movie theatre release of Futurama and a Family Guy movies. But not episodes strung together for a movie.

Just finished watching the movie earlier tonight...

it was amazing! I'm so happy the show is finally back.

I just picked it up yesterday and will be watching it tonight. I just couldn't bring myself to watch it alone. Zoidberg Rulez!!!!

I saw it back in the first week it came out, and it was simply amazing. I watched it with a few people who had never really seen Futurama before, and they didn't really like it, so I dont think a theatrical release would do well like the simpson's movie did.

But I'm really glad to see that the series is coming back with the original cast and great production values.

i'm a big futurama fan, but didn't really like the movie. there were a few funny bits, bit not enough to sustain it for me.

having said that, one of best mates absolutely loves it, so i guess it's a personal taste thing. will probably watch it again soon and giveit a second shot..!
