Anxious for Lost

I have to admit I'm a huge Lost fan and I can't wait until the season 4, two hour premeire on Jan. 31. I think Lost is one of the most intriguing shows on cable. I don't really understand the whole plot behind Lost, I have a couple of opinions about what I think is going on. Like maybe they all died on the plane & they are in purgatory trying to make amends for all the wrongs they have done. I'm just curious to hear other peoples opinions about what the hell is going on & are you as excited as I am to see season 4?

Personally, i like Lost, but its starting to drag on a bit, haven't they signed it up for another few series? The constant "tune in next week" style endings, are beginning to grind my gears, but im a sucker and keep tuning back in.

Saying that it's so different compared to other shows, with the intricate production, anyone who's been on any of the fan sites has seen the dozens of screencaps posted showing clues or something interesting in the background.

There's a fine line between having a vision to make a truly great show and making it into a cash cow, and i think the creators are balancing on it.

That seems like a show I'd really like, but I have never seen an episode of it. Maybe someday I'll watch S1 and see what the hype is.

I saw a few episodes of season and didn't like it. The fog/mist and polar bear crap. I'm not gonna say it's my number one song but I like it beter from season 2 on.

i cant wait either, it seems like nothing really gets answered and leaves you wondering what the hell happened lol.

I'd recommend starting it from season 1, you'll probably end up thinking its a load of crap if you start in the middle somwhere

i am absolutely obsessed with this show, you have to watch it from the start and if you can't get into it, then you need to reevaluate yourself from the ground up, cuz something might be wrong with you.The only way to watch though, is on dvd, otherwise i can understand how people got frustrated with the show's slow unveiling of the bigger mysteries.and the finale of season 3 was one of themost chilling and thrilling moments in the history of either television or cinema.
P.S. the two hour premiere episode is actually a one hour series-recap episode followed by the actual hour-long first episode of season 4.

i'm a huge fan now. took me till season 2 to really get into it, and by the second half of that season i couldn't miss an episode. seems so long ago now, the mysteries with the hatch, the others, the mist, all those storylines. man.

then i think series 3 lifted a notch again. the production values are fantastic, the characters keep getting flushed out further, and the evolving storyline is gripping beyond anything i imagined. the finale of season 3 is a perfect example of why i love the show so much - fantastic!

i love the fact that ther are no sacred cows too - any of the characters, main or supporting could go at any time...

now we're halfway through series 4, and i have to wait for 5 weeks till the second part, damn!

the writers srike means this series is going to lose 3 or 4 episodes, so double damn!!

for anyone worried about where the show's going, or whether it's being bled as a cash cow, don't. there is an offical end date for the show - 2010. seems like a long way, but that's only 2 seasons after this one, and the evolving mysteries and plotline will need at least that long to do them justice.

can't really say too much more here withour giving away spoilers for people not into season 4, but i'll definitely say keep watching, it just keeps getting better!!
