Lost Theories

What are some theories about what is really happening on Lost? A lot has happened lately. You have the Oceanic Six, Jack, Kate, Hurley, Aaron, Sun, and Sayid, and the island appears to be in some kind of wormhole. We also know that Ben lives and Jin dies. Aaron was like three years old when it showed him, but Sun had to get off the island within two weeks to survive with her baby so it is hard to get a timeframe going. Now did everyone else die or are some of them still on the island and don't plan to come off? And I'm guessing Sayid is killing all the people involved with Charles Widmore for Ben.

yep, the main storyline is playing out as a war between widmore and ben, for whatever secret powers the island posseses.

i imagine a large contingent stays behind - i don't think they'd kill off the majors like locke and sawyer too easily, so i think they're part of a faction that stays behind.

clearly there's also a future return to the island for some of the 6, as intimated in jack's flash forward at the end of last season, so that storyline (back on the island) should still be the main theme going forward.

don't think aaron's not one of the oceanic 6 - he wasn't on the plane when it crashed, just a baby bump inside claire. pretty sure the 6th is still to be revealed...

I've seen some theories about Jacob being Jack from the future trying to stop himself from making the wrong choices. If this was true the flash forwards might be only one possible time line.

They are saying in the ads that all of the Oceanic Six have been revealed so Aaron is the only other one I can come up with to fill that sixth spot. I was a little iffy on him too, but I can't come up with anyone else.

But is future Jin dead or alive? It was utterly weird. The nurse or orderly, the one who took Sun's jewelry, knew that Sun was one of the Oceanic Six. Dr. Bae called flash forward Sun "Mrs. Kwon" and asked her if he should call her husband or her parents. Since the Oceanic Six are famous, wouldn't the doctor know that Jin was dead? Does Sun have another husband? If so, why would he call her "Mrs. Kwon"? And if Jin were still alive on the Island, why did Sun and Hurley take the baby to the cemetery? Were they being watched?

actually, i probably stand to be corrected about aaron. we haven't had the ads here in oz for the next part of the series yet (ep 8 runs tomorrow) but i've heard that they're promoting him as the 6th, so i guess that's that!

Lost may be the best show on TV but I would't waste your time trying to figure it out anymore. The more you watch Lost the more confusing it gets, it's like you find out one answer and gain 3 more questions every time.

I think the end of the last season closes some "action lines", some importan questions are answered, and we get to know it´s not a dream and they´re in the real world. I think a good point to star the 5th season is the las scene of 4th´s last episode: The can explain with flashbacks what happened, but have one place of action.

it will be interesting to see what they will do this year. will jack be able to get everyone back to the island and the how did lock die and how did he get back to the mainland. can't wait till the new season starts.
