My Family's Got GUTS

Nick at Nite is putting a family spin on the game show "GUTS."

Production on "My Family's Got's GUTS" starts in August at Universal Studios in Orlando. Twenty half-hours and two hourlong specials will be produced.

Marjorie Cohn of Nickelodeon Networks said "GUTS" will be better this time around.

"'My Family's Got GUTS' celebrates sports and fun, healthy competition and lifestyle," she said in a release. "The series that asks, 'Do You Have It?' will challenge families to get active and use teamwork to prove they have what it takes to win."

Announcements on the host and auditions will be made later. The original "GUTS" ran on Nickelodeon from 1992 to 1995. The new show is produced by Worldwide Biggies, which developed the franchise.

I'm upset over this... I used to watch GUTS religiously as a child.
Why not just let more kids compete alone?

Never heard of this show before. Was / is it some kind of physical challenge show for the contestants???
