HEROES.......and Villians **Spoiler Alert**

With under a month until the next season of Heroes, I thought I'd try to get some talk about what I think is one of the best shows on TV. I know season 2 wasn't all that great and the writers have even gone as far as apologising for the slow-pacing, focus on Claire etc. but I still think it's one of the more engaging shows on box. Agree/Disagree?
I personally can't wait for the Villians arc, the big theory I've read is that -

Peter from the future is gonna be one of the villians and he was in fact the shooter at the end of season 2

I personally love the show and the current storyline. That writers strike really screwed up the continuity of things, I hope they can pick up where they left off.

I'm personally a bit shocked people haven't seemed to jump on this thread, Heroes is so much better than Lost...there I said it.

I've never even seen an episode of Lost, so the show is "lost" on me.

*****Attention****** Spoiler Alert for Season 3 Episode 1*******



I have been looking up on this and with a week to go we all get to look forward to a bunch of new baddies with powers so dangerous that the Company locked them up in what amounts to death row. Elle and Sylar will be getting into a fight that causes damage to the facility and sets them free. Once they are free they set their sights on revenge against the man who put them in there, the man with the horn rim glasses, Mr. Bennet. He will be negotiating a hostage crisis with one of these baddies who tried to rob a bank. One of these baddies will have the ability to grow stronger whenever he is in the presence of fear.

We also get to once again visit the original future from Season 1 where Clair will be going off on a killing spree and is rumored to have to fight Sylar. Peter will be coming back from that future, that is four years from the present and seals Present Peter in a prisoner's body.

Hiro apparently will be defying his father's orders and goes and gets half of a formula that could destroy the world if it is reunited with the other half and then loses it to a new hero that has super fast speed. Hiro tries to freeze her and apparently will be getting hit in the jaw before she runs off.

However Sylar is apparently going after Claire and actually succeeds, but it doesn't finish her off and all he manages to do is make her stronger by taking away her ability to feel pain. We will also get to see a part of what Sylar does with people's brains when he does take them. We will also be seeing more sides to Sylar, like a good side that wants to be powerful and good, and will apparently be vital for his survival.

Present Claire will now be pissed off and wants revenge so her Genetic Mother (the fire starter from season 1) will return to teach her how to kick some ass.

All of this takes place in just the fist episode which was screened in advance at the Comic-Con. Why give away so much, well according to the creator's these plot points are nothing compared to the twists and turns the season will be taking.

have just watched the 3rd episode and think it's going to be the best season so far
personally it's one of the best tv series i've ever seen and the characters with the twists and turns make it compulsive viewing
one episode leaves me wanting the next!
long may it continue
