The CW will not be renewing Privileged for a second season. There was talk of a possible midseason berth for the much-loved dramedy, but, ultimately, the show was a casualty of the network's strong development. Speaking of which, among new shows, The CW has picked up Melrose Place 2.0, Beautiful Life, and Vampire Diaries. Oh, and the Gossip Girl spin-off is officially dead.
The only show from this list I'm going to miss is "The Unit". Wonder if the same thing happens to "Flashpoint", because it's even more entertaining.

Not necessarily. There are some rumors that it may end up being picked up as a mid-season show (early 2010), probably with 13 (or less) episodes. Anyway all three shows announced for the new season seem crap, so I'll probably remain with only two - Smallville & Supernatural.
I am really glad they decided to keep Dollhouse. It started really slow but it really took off on the last half of the season. Now not only will we keep going further into a well developed story but we will continue to get to see Eliza in some skimpy outfits!
To bad for TSCC. I would have liked to see more of that show. During the writers strike the show went to hell and became a very slow paced, boring drama. The last half of the season after the strike ended sought to recover the show to its original story but had to work through the crap the lousy writers made up and just couldn't make it happen quick enough to save the show and viewers. They tried hard for the sex appeal throwing Summer in a bra and as many sexual situations but not even that could save the show.
