Yeah, but sometimes I can. For example, I just added this sentence. And I can edit my first post on this thread.
I think they lock after a certain amount of time after it's posted.

C2S is correct mate, we lock the threads after a set amont of time. We do this on the basis that if you've made a mistake you'll know about it pretty quick
Locking threads also stops members from changing their original thread, making all of the responses look out of context.
For example, you could post a picture of an absolute stunning babe, Get lots of members posting lots of:
Hmmmm Yummy
and
I'd hit it
and Wildwoods Fave.
:drool: :drool: :drool: :drool:
And then replace the picture with the picture of a hairy Monkey.
Actually, that would be quite funny!
