Thread: Help Loggin IN Please

Hey Chief,

This is actually Fadeout001. Something is up with my account as I was saved to be remembered and was on earlier today, then came back and I was mysteriously logged out. When I tried to log back in it wouldn't recognize my username / password. I tried resetting it 3 times via the forgotten my password link and none of those have worked either.

Any knowledge on what is up and/or advice on how to fix it?

OK, to start with this is Fade again Chief, this is getting weird; Not only did the password you sent me not work, but when I logged out of the junk account "Help" and then attempted to log back in with it the site didn't recognize that username / password which makes 2 different accounts that messed up.

Don't know what is happening here but something is definitely wrong.

Thanks for the info Chief. Cleared my cookies & reset the password and was able to log in no problems. Most likely clearing the cookies sorted the issue but considering during the trouble my password was reset so many times I wasn't sure what it was anymore so resetting it seemed like the best option.

Interestingly enough...during at least part of the day yesterday and yesterday evening, fadeout's name was appearing on the boeard as orange instead of green

Knowing that he was having account trouble makes me feel better ....I thought we'd lost him

Good observation there mate. Mean reason for that was the fact that I took fades moderator permissins off him just in case the issues were due to his account being compromised.

He's got them back now though

I knew that was the reason the moment you replied to my post and it was a good choice as well Chief. I to thought my account may have been compromised for a bit up until that "help" account didn't work. That told me something else was up since I started a brand new junk e-mail account, new username and password, and did it all from another computer.

I am glad though to see I am well liked enough that I will be missed if I go.
