MANKATO, Minnesota (AP)—Randy Moss(notes) is calling it a career after 13 seasons inthe NFL as one of the most dynamic and polarizing players the league has everseen.
Moss’s agent, Joel Segal, said Monday that the receiver was consideringoffers from several teams, but made the decision to retire. Segal declined tocomment specifically on the offers, instead saying his client felt the time wasright to step away.
Moss caught 954 passes for 14,858 yards and 153 touchdowns in a career spentwith Minnesota, Oakland, New England and Tennessee.
The 34-year-old Moss bounced around the league in his final season, gettingtraded from the Patriots to the Vikings last season before he was cut and signedwith the Titans.
