Default Pop ups, pop unders, spam from Newsgab????

I opened the Newsgab site and the first thing I have to do is fend off POPUNDER spam. My browser is asking to install missing add-ons. Did this come from Newsgab???

Visitors get one popup I believe. Registered members don't get any.

What does it say the missing add-on is?

My domain has built-in censoring so I never get to see the ad. I see a purple screen with the reason for the block. Unfortunately, it all went by fast and I am accustomed to ignoring it. Thanks for the information. It makes perfect sense that without cookies in place odd things can happen.

I am replying to my own thread instead of starting a new one.

I always delete cookies, history, and whatever else when I close my browser for security reasons. I have all my favorites saved away from the POS IBM laptop I use. All due to company policy and security.

    Anyways!

When I typed in the newsgab site and the page came up I was hit with a JAVA push. A window that I MUST do what it says or the page cannot progress. In this case advertisements and cookie that look suspiciously like tracking trojans.

I'm guessing you subscribe to an online ad company and they pay you without you doing any work. Good idea. Unless they are forcing the visitors to accept their snares and surruptitious tracking.

Definitely not a friendly way to do business.
