Newspaper prints "Colts 31, Saints 17" It's not quite as bad as "Dewey defeats Truman." But it's pretty bad.
The Virginian-Pilot, the daily newspaper in Norfolk, Virginia, began its Super Bowl recap in today's paper with "Colts 31, Saints 17."
The actual score, of course, was Saints 31, Colts 17.
The paper published an apology on its web site today.
"This morning's Virginian-Pilot Sports front featured a horrible error," the apology says. "We accidentally reversed the score of the Super Bowl.
"We're embarrassed, and we apologize to all our readers, especially Saints fans."
